Congratulations to Dayana Sarkisova on taking 5th place out of 160 fencers this past weekend in St. Louis, MO. Also impressive was Rada Sarkisova who took 15th place.

We were also encouraged to see a couple of our fencers, Rui Takagi and Alex Kernoski, participate in the event. Keep up the good work!

We had very exciting camp over the past weekend featuring US Men's Foil Olympian Gerek Meinhart. Gerek spent the first day fencing with our advanced fencers and the second day fencing and giving some fencing tips to our younger fencers. He also shared his Olympic experience with the camp participants. This was a great camp and everyone enjoyed it a lot.

Current beginning fencers and parents!

Our Fall beginning classes are finally here and have been a great success! However, with as many new students as there have been, it is hard for all the coaches to speak to the parents and answer all the questions that may be out there!
So, that is why the GRAFA Coaches have decided to have a small get together on Monday September 22nd at 7:00pm! This will be a perfect time for all the parents and students to come, have some snacks (refreshments will be provided), and chat with all the coaches and other parents!

We will be there to speak about the sport, training options, as well as any and all other topics you may want covered!

Everyone's welcome! We hope you can make it and hope to see you all there!

GRAFA wishes to congratulate one of it's club members, Rada Sarkisova, on her acceptence into the University of Notre Dame. Rada will be fencing on the woman's foil Varsity team. We wish Rada all the best in her college studies and fencing career.
