Zach has been training in foil fencing under the Sarkisov’s since 1999. He currently attends Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, studying Cognitive Science where he fences for the Varsity team. In spring of 2005, Zach was elected as Captain of the Queen’s University Varsity fencing squad, overseeing the men’s and women’s foil, epee and sabre teams. When he is on school break, he assists in instruction of beginner classes under the tutelage of the coaches.
