Congratulations to Dan Vredenburg on earning his "C" rank at the Remenyik by placing 15th out of 80 fencers in the Mens foil event. Dan is only 14 years old and is one of the rising stars in Michigan fencing. Way to go Dan! We are all very proud of you!!!Dan also placed 11th in the recent Division III National Championship in Tucson, Arizona. Congratulations and good luck in your future competitions!!!

GRAFA is the youngest yet most experienced fencing club in West Michigan

First and only club in West Michigan to take home two gold medals at Nationals

GRAFA has more fencers on National Points list than any clubs in Michigan

Both GRAFA Head Coaches have Bachelors Degree in Physical Education with minors in Pedagogy and physical Therapy.

All GRAFA coaches have higher education degree and years of experience.

Head coach Mikhail was honored as the “2004 Developmental Coach of the Year” by the U.S. Olympic Committee

GRAFA fencers earned 34 medals at Nationals, and two from a World Cup! The most of any club in Michigan.

Mikhail and Arkadiy Sarkisov have traveled as coaches for the Cadet and Junior Womens Foil Team to 9 World Cups, assisting fencers in earning many medals including Gold medals.
